Dear Russ,
I heard that you are in the hospital I want you to know that you are the first one who I ever wrote to who was in Viet Nam.
Did you ever hear of the man who tried to cross the Atlantic in a row boat. It happened in the winter in Gloucester. He was going with his son. They went fifteen feet away from shore and came back because it was too cold.

in [possibly: Glocester]. One day I was walking near the bridge in Gloucester and it was going up. Two dogs were on it and almost fell in. But they held on tight and made it.
The class is having a play for Flag Day. We are doing it to show our love for our country.
Fighting for peace is one of the best ways of showing your love for your country.
Do what the doctor says and get out soon
